出町柳の出合いから賀茂川の名を鴨川と換える。

京都を訪れたことの無い方でも、知っている。

この川があるので、平安京を構えたといても過言ではない。

Everybody  knows this river even if hasn't visited Kyoto.

Actually,Kamo river make Kyoto Civilized.

左岸の遊歩道は、塩小路橋から始まる。

There is alongside walk.

It begins from Shiokouji-bashi to north

川の浅瀬で遊ぶ子供たち。

高校生や、童心を忘れていない大人も遊ぶ。

Also High school students,adults with a child mind. 

道は、石畳だったり、土だったり、雨の日は水たまりが多く通りづらい。
